The outgoing President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, has concluded his four-day working visit to Tanzania, which took place from June 12 to 15, 2025. Dr. Adesina departed the country through Julius Nyerere International Airport, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Denis Londo. His visit to Tanzania followed an invitation from the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, with the aim of touring projects financed by the bank.
