DR. YONAZI HOLDS TALKS WITH WORLD VISION TANZANIA REPRESENTATIVE.

The Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliament, and Coordination), Dr. Jim Yonazi, held a meeting today, June 24, 2025, in Dodoma with the Country Director and Representative of World Vision Tanzania, Dr. Joseph Mayala.


The purpose of the meeting was for the organization to introduce itself formally and also to express appreciation for the ongoing collaboration between World Vision Tanzania and the Prime Minister’s Office, particularly in the areas of nutrition and disaster management in the country.


Dr. Yonazi pledged to continue working closely with the organization, especially in strengthening efforts related to nutrition and disaster response, to ensure that government services effectively reach the people.


He assured the stakeholders that the government recognizes and values their contributions, both materially and technically, whenever needed. He cited various disaster situations that have previously affected Tanzania as examples of their timely support.


“I commend World Vision for always stepping in when needed, especially during times of disaster. This has been a commendable and exemplary effort. Thank you, and we look forward to continued cooperation,” said Dr. Yonazi.
