AIRPORT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS TO BOOST TOURISM, BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT

The Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has said that the implementation of various airport infrastructure improvement projects across the country is aimed at meeting both current and future demands in the aviation sector.

The statement was made by TAA Director of Human Resources and Administration, Irene Minja, who noted that the authority remains committed to accountability, transparency and professionalism in carrying out its responsibilities, while overseeing development projects designed to enhance air transport services and stimulate national economic growth.

Minja said the ongoing investments in the airport sector are playing a significant role in promoting business, tourism and investment, with airports continuing to serve as important gateways connecting Tanzania to various countries around the world.

“We recognize the crucial role airports play in national development. That is why we are continuously improving services and infrastructure to ensure Tanzania becomes an attractive destination for tourists, businesspeople and investors from different parts of the world,” said Minja.

She also encouraged citizens to continue obtaining accurate information through TAA, learn about the development projects being implemented, and provide feedback that will help improve service delivery.
