The Chief Executive Officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange, Mr. Peter Nalitolela, met with the former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, to discuss the growth and development of Tanzania’s capital markets.

During the meeting, the former President underscored the importance of attracting more companies to list on the Exchange in order to increase market capitalization and strengthen the country’s financial sector. He also emphasized the need to expand investor education initiatives through television, radio, and other media platforms to enhance public understanding of the benefits and importance of investing in shares.
