PLATINUM CREDIT LAUNCHES CAR LOANS FOR TANZANIANS, RUHUZA SPEAKS OUT
In a move aimed at economically empowering public servants, businesspeople, and private sector employees, Platinum Credit Limited has announced the launch of affordable car loan services for Tanzanians.
The announcement was made today in Dar es Salaam by the company’s Business Development Manager, Allan Ruhuza, while speaking to journalists. He said the initiative is part of Platinum Credit’s efforts to welcome the New Year 2026 by enabling more Tanzanians to own vehicles.
“We at Platinum Credit will finance up to 65 percent of the value of your car under friendly terms, while the customer will contribute the remaining 35 percent,” Ruhuza said.
Ruhuza explained that the newly introduced loan products include Logbook Finance Loans (loans secured using a vehicle logbook), Civil Servants Loans (special loans for public servants), and SME Loans (loans for small and medium-scale entrepreneurs).
He added that the loans have been designed with simple procedures, quick disbursement, and customer-friendly terms to ensure accessibility for many Tanzanians.
“Through these efforts, Platinum Credit Tanzania continues to demonstrate its commitment to being a development partner for Tanzanians by providing simple, inclusive, and sustainable financial solutions that will drive individual prosperity and national development as a whole,” Ruhuza emphasized.
