GTC Cargo Commends Tanzania’s Investment Climate, Launches “Jaza Tukujazie” Campaign for the Festive Season

Dar es Salaam .

International cargo importation company GTC Cargo has praised Tanzania’s favorable investment climate, saying it has significantly boosted efficiency and productivity in the delivery of services to its customers.

Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam, Yassin Matsawilly, GTC Cargo’s Country Director for Tanzania, said their new campaign “Jaza Tukujazie: Your Income is Not a Barrier” is designed to help customers order goods early for the festive season so that shipments can arrive safely and on time before December.

Matsawilly urged customers to place their orders from China early, assuring them that GTC Cargo is ready to assist even those with limited capital by ensuring their goods reach Tanzania while allowing flexible, gradual payments.

Highlighting government efforts in improving the business environment, Matsawilly noted that investments made under the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, particularly in the expansion of the Port of Dar es Salaam, have greatly enhanced efficiency in cargo handling.

DP World has achieved remarkable improvements. Previously, clients had to wait up to fourteen days for cargo clearance at the port, but now it only takes two to three days, which has helped us deliver goods to our customers much faster,” said Matsawilly.

On her part, GTC Cargo’s Marketing Officer, Khadija Omary, explained that the campaign specifically targets small-scale customers by giving them the opportunity to import goods with flexible repayment terms.

“Jaza Tukujazie is a great offer that has already started showing positive results. Our goal is to empower and uplift our customers, and we encourage them to take full advantage of it,” said Omary.

The “Jaza Tukujazie” campaign is already attracting strong interest and is expected to benefit many customers during the festive season, helping them strengthen their businesses while accessing goods conveniently and affordably.
