BRELA Directed to Support Traders at the Sabasaba Trade Fair

The Minister for Industry and Trade, Hon. Judith Kapinga, has directed the Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA) to proactively visit exhibitors participating in the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as Sabasaba, and provide them with the agency's registration and licensing services.

Hon. Kapinga issued the directive yesterday during her visit to BRELA's exhibition booths located inside the Ministry of Industry and Trade pavilion and near the Ministry of Finance pavilion at the ongoing trade fair.

"Ensure that you visit exhibitors at their stands and assist them in formalizing their businesses. Organize yourselves well so that you can help them resolve their challenges. We are here to facilitate business growth, not to intimidate entrepreneurs. Approach them as business enablers and support them," she emphasized.

The Minister also urged BRELA to continue delivering efficient and customer-friendly services to citizens, business owners, and all stakeholders visiting its exhibition booths.

BRELA continues to provide on-the-spot services at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, which commenced on June 28, 2026. The agency has attracted a large number of stakeholders seeking fast, convenient, and reliable services through its upgraded BRELA Online Services (BOS) system.

Services available at the BRELA booths include business name registration, company registration, trademark and service mark registration, patent registration, issuance of Class A business licenses, and industrial licenses.
