Oasis Village Club Partners with Bolt Tanzania to Educate Students on Safe Mobility and Digital Innovation .

Dar es Salaam, 25 June 2026 —

Leading ride-hailing platform Bolt Tanzania yesterday welcomed students from the Oasis Summer Camp 2026 programme to its Driver Engagement Centre (DEC) in Dar es Salaam as part of an educational visit aimed at exposing young learners to technology, innovation, and safe mobility practices.

The visit, organized in partnership with Oasis Village Club, provided primary school students with a behind-the-scenes look at how digital platforms are transforming transport services and improving safety standards for riders and drivers.

During the session, students were introduced to Bolt's safety tools, including trip sharing, ride tracking, emergency assistance features, driver verification systems, and customer support mechanisms designed to enhance accountability and transparency throughout the journey experience.

Speaking during the visit, Bolt Tanzania Country Manager for Public Relations, Gilbert Ginono, said the company views youth engagement as an important investment in the country's future.

"We believe education is one of the most powerful tools for helping young people understand how technology can change the narrative for challenges faced in communities. Through visits like these, students gain practical exposure to Bolt tools innovated to ensure both drivers and riders can experience safe mobility. We look forward to future engagements with schools and universities to showcase the impact of technology and demonstrate how safety tools available today have transformed mobility compared to a decade ago, when travelling at night often carried greater uncertainty and passengers had fewer ways of verifying drivers or sharing trip information with loved ones."

Oasis Village Club's Summer Camp programme is known for introducing students from various schools across Dar es Salaam to different industries and professions, helping them gain real-world exposure beyond the classroom.

Bolt Tanzania said it remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote digital literacy, safety awareness, and innovation for university students and among Tanzania's next generation.
