Dar es Salaam

The Ministry of Energy continues to provide education on clean cooking energy to members of the public attending the Clean Energy Expo 2026 in Dar es Salaam, as part of efforts aimed at improving public health, protecting the environment, and enhancing community well-being.

Participants are being educated on various forms of clean cooking energy, including Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), natural gas, biogas, bioethanol, electricity, and alternative charcoal.

They are also being informed about the Government’s initiatives to promote the use of clean cooking energy across the country in order to achieve the target of 80 percent adoption of clean cooking energy by 2034.

The Clean Energy Expo 2026 has been organized by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the Tanzania Business Women Association (TABWA) and is being held at the Ubungo EACLC Hall.

The expo has become an important platform that brings together stakeholders in the clean cooking energy sector, investors, and members of the public to discuss achievements made, existing challenges, and development opportunities within the sector.

In addition to showcasing various technologies, the expo continues to provide opportunities for citizens to gain knowledge about investment in the clean cooking energy sector and how they can contribute to accelerating the adoption of clean energy solutions in Tanzania, while supporting national goals of ensuring that more citizens have access to safe and clean energy for their daily needs.
