Gulf Jobs Hunts Manpower, located at Chang’ombe (Keko – Maduka Mawili) in Dar es Salaam, has announced a special offer of free Visa processing and air tickets for Tanzanians who successfully secure overseas employment through the company.


Speaking on November 8, 2025, the Head of Customer Service, Ms. Rukia Mohamed, said that more than 200 job opportunities are available for young Tanzanians aspiring to work abroad. This initiative is part of the company’s continued efforts to help youth access decent employment and improve their livelihoods.


Ms. Rukia noted that interviews for applicants will be held on November 11, 12, and 13, 2025, at the company’s offices in Chang’ombe.


The available positions include:

Cleaning services

Construction work

Cargo loading and offloading at warehouses

And other related roles.


She emphasized that the main requirement for applicants is to have a valid passport, adding that successful candidates will be assisted throughout the travel process until they reach their respective job destinations.

*Government Launches 15274 Hotline to Ease Access to National ID Information

Dar es Salaam: The Government has urged citizens to use their mobile phones by dialing *15274 to easily access information related to National Identification Cards (NIDA). Speaking today, December 29, 2025, the Minister for Home Affairs, George Simbachawene, said the service will enable citizens to check the status of their National ID cards, including whether the card has been produced or not, with feedback provided within five days. He explained that through this number, citizens will receive important information regarding their National IDs, adding that damaged ID cards are expected to be replaced starting February 2026. “By using this number, you will be able to get information on whether your ID card has been produced. I emphasize that damaged ID cards will be issued in February 2026,” said Minister Simbachawene.
