The Tourism Road Show that began on October 6, 2025, in Spain concluded today, October 8, 2025, in the city of Seville, marking the end of a three-day tour that took place in Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville. The event brought together major tourism agents with the aim of promoting Tanzania’s tourist attractions and investment opportunities.
The exhibition, which attracted about 100 travel agents from across Spain, provided Tanzania — represented by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) and the Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) — with an opportunity to strengthen its presence in the European tourism market, which is considered a key strategic market.
The Director of the Spanish Association of Travel Agents, Mr. Oscar Gabaldón, who also serves as the representative of Tanganyika Expedition in Spain, said the purpose of organizing the road show was inspired by the growing interest among Spanish tourists to visit Tanzania’s diverse attractions.
> “Tanzania is a uniquely beautiful country blessed with wildlife, rich culture, stunning beaches, and magnificent mountains. All these features make it a highly attractive destination in Spain’s tourism market and across Europe as a whole,” said Mr. Gabaldón.
Representatives from Ngorongoro and TANAPA stated that through the road show, they gained valuable opportunities to market Tanzania’s tourist attractions and investment prospects within the areas managed by their institutions. The goal is to increase the number of tourists visiting Tanzania and support the national target of reaching eight million (8 million) tourists by the year 2030.
