Makuyuni Wildlife Park, located about 70 kilometers from Arusha City, has once again captured international tourism headlines after receiving a high-profile visitor — Miss World China 2021, Ms. Jiang Sigi, who toured the park on October 11, 2025, accompanied by winners of the Miss Travel award from Hong Kong–China, Kenya, and Tanzania.
The special one-day tour, organized by Miss Travel World Beauty Pageant (T/A Skyvfree International) under its parent company Goshen Safaris, aimed to provide these highly influential guests with the opportunity to experience Tanzania’s natural attractions firsthand. Through their international platforms, the visitors are expected to promote Makuyuni Wildlife Park globally by showcasing its growing reputation as an international destination for wildlife, scenic beauty, and authentic cultural tourism.
Speaking after the tour, Mr. Samweli Mulugu, the National Coordinator of Miss Travel World – Tanzania, said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote Tanzania’s tourism through celebrity ambassadors and influential global figures. He added that the visit would enhance the visibility of Makuyuni Wildlife Park in international markets and attract potential investors in the tourism sector.
He also commended the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) for its continued efforts to promote sustainable tourism, preserve natural heritage, and protect the cultural values of surrounding communities.
On her part, Segoline Tarimo, Assistant Conservation Commissioner for Tourism in the Northern Zone, expressed appreciation to Goshen Safaris for supporting the Sixth-Phase Government, led by Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, in promoting the country’s attractions through productions such as The Royal Tour and Amazing Tanzania.
She also took the opportunity to invite both local and international tourists to visit Makuyuni Wildlife Park and experience its diverse attractions.
During the visit, the guests had the chance to witness a variety of wildlife up close — including elephants, giraffes, impalas, oryx, zebras, and many others — as well as enjoy traditional Maasai cultural dances.
Captivated by the park’s scenic landscape and rich biodiversity, the visitors expressed their intention to return to Makuyuni Wildlife Park for mountain hiking adventures and to continue promoting Tanzania’s tourism to the world.
