Gulf Jobs Hunts Calls on Youth to Attend Taxi Driver Job Interviews on October 5–6
Gulf Jobs Hunts, a company specializing in overseas employment recruitment, has called on Tanzanian youth and the public at large to participate in job interviews for taxi driver positions scheduled for October 5–6, 2025, at the company’s offices in Keko, Dar es Salaam.
Speaking to journalists at the company’s offices, Gulf Jobs Hunts Managing Director, Mohamed Kashif, said the interviews will begin early in the morning and are part of the company’s efforts to help young Tanzanians secure employment opportunities that will enable them to improve their economic well-being.
On her part, the company’s Head of Customer Service, Rukia Mohamed, said that so far, more than 600 young people have already secured various jobs abroad through Gulf Jobs Hunts. Explaining the requirements for the taxi driver positions, she noted that applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license that has been in use for at least two years.
Rukia further added that beyond driver positions, Gulf Jobs Hunts also provides many other overseas job opportunities, including flight attendants, domestic workers, hotel staff, and airport jobs. She emphasized that Tanzanians should seize this important opportunity, which has already transformed the lives of many young people.
Some of the young people who attended the recruitment sessions expressed their satisfaction, saying the interview process was transparent and well-organized. They added that they are now in the final stages before traveling abroad to start their new jobs. They also thanked the company for opening doors to employment, which they described as a major economic relief.
