SUMVE RESIDENTS URGED TO CAST HONORABLE VOTES FOR CCM – DR. BITEKO

Member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and Parliamentary candidate for Bukombe Constituency, Hon. Doto Mashaka Biteko, has urged the people of Sumve Constituency in Kwimba District, Mwanza Region, to vote overwhelmingly for CCM candidates, emphasizing the party’s significant efforts in bringing development to the area.

Dr. Biteko made the remarks on September 21, 2025, in Mwanza while campaigning for the CCM Parliamentary candidate for Sumve Constituency, Moses Bujaga, ahead of the General Election for President, Members of Parliament, and Councilors scheduled for October 29 this year.

He highlighted that the CCM government has made great strides in constructing the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) cargo station to enhance goods transportation to various regions, as well as building an international airport in Mwanza to expand the region’s economy.

In addition, he noted that all villages within the constituency have been connected to electricity, including power distribution to sub-villages.

Dr. Biteko further stressed that President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan is a leader who listens and takes action. He pointed out that in Sumve Constituency alone, the government has built 75 primary schools, five health centers, and paved roads to ease the transportation of agricultural produce to markets.

“These development projects are not just words, they are visible. We want to deliver even more, and in the next five years, Dr. Samia is determined to implement numerous additional projects. I urge Sumve residents to vote massively for CCM candidates to honor our party. Once you have voted, you should demand development from us,” insisted Dr. Biteko.

He added that voting is an investment in development and emphasized that this year’s election is directly linked to people’s livelihoods and progress. He therefore called on the people to cast their votes for CCM’s Presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

While campaigning for Sumve’s Parliamentary candidate Moses Bujaga, Dr. Biteko described him as a composed, intelligent, and knowledgeable leader capable of providing solutions to the challenges facing the people, urging voters to turn out in large numbers on October 29 to elect him.

On his part, Moses Bujaga expressed gratitude to CCM for nominating him and pledged to work closely with citizens to fulfill the responsibility of advancing development once elected.

Similarly, Kwimba Constituency Parliamentary candidate, Cosmas Bulala, said that Kwimba is the hub of development in Mwanza Region and urged voters to re-elect CCM candidates on October 29 to ensure continued progress.
