SAU Poised to Take Power in the 2025 General Election

The Sauti ya Umma (SAU) party has announced its determination to take power in the upcoming General Election scheduled for October 29, 2025.

Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam on September 9, 2025, the party’s Vice Chairman, Simon Bayo, said SAU has a marketable presidential candidate, the young Majalio Kyara, whose policies are practical and achievable.

“As SAU, we are well-prepared to take power in this year’s General Election. We have a young candidate with vision and sound policies to serve Tanzanians,” said Bayo.

He explained that the party is committed to ensuring victory by fielding a large number of parliamentary and council candidates across the country, alongside nationwide campaigns to seek the people’s mandate.

Bayo highlighted that SAU’s manifesto focuses on improving agriculture, industry, and technology, stressing that a government led by the party will create jobs for young people and empower them to be dependable rather than dependent.

“Tanzanians must understand that there is no other candidate with better policies than Majalio Kyara. Our government will uphold justice for the youth and provide them with employment opportunities,” he emphasized.
