TAWA UTILIZES 31ST NANE NANE EXHIBITION TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND PROMOTE TOURISM ATTRACTIONS
By Our Reporter, Arusha
The Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA), through its Northern Zone, is leveraging the platform of the 31st Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition 2025, currently taking place at the Nane Nane Grounds in Arusha, to engage with Tanzanians by providing education on conservation, tourism, and investment opportunities within its managed areas.
Participating under the joint pavilion of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, TAWA is offering information and public education on tourism attractions in the Northern Zone and other regions across the country, as well as highlighting investment prospects in the conservation sector. The exhibition, which officially commenced on August 1, 2025, has become a vital forum for direct interaction with the public.
In addition to education, TAWA, in collaboration with its stakeholders, has captivated visitors by showcasing live wild animals, including lions, hyenas, and crocodiles, which have been a major attraction for guests from within and outside the Arusha region visiting the Ministry’s pavilion.
Preliminary statistics indicate that as of August 3, 2025, over 350 people had received educational services and information from TAWA experts. The awareness and sensitization efforts will continue until the exhibition’s grand finale on August 8, 2025.
TAWA urges all citizens to visit the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism pavilion to access accurate information, learn about domestic tourism, and understand their role in safeguarding the nation’s heritage while tapping into available investment opportunities.
