The Conservation Commissioner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), Abdul-razaq Badru, has stated that the authority will now focus on enhancing creativity to make the Amboni Caves in Tanga more attractive to both local and international tourists.
Speaking during a discussion with officials at the site, Commissioner Badru emphasized that the area is a valuable asset and should be leveraged as an economic opportunity through tourism activities.
"Let us work together and come up with innovative projects that will make Amboni a more appealing destination for our visitors from within and outside the country," said Commissioner Badru.
The Amboni Caves hold significant historical treasures, including their role in the struggle for Tanzania’s independence, cultural heritage of Tanga communities, and rare geological formations that are hard to find elsewhere in the world.
