CCM Invites Citizens and Other Political Parties to Campaign Launch in Dar es Salaam



Dar es Salaam, August 27, 2025 – 

The Secretary for Ideology, Training, and Publicity of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Kenani Kihongosi, has called upon party members and the general public to turn out in large numbers for the launch of CCM’s election campaigns in order to hear the party’s policies and Election Manifesto.


Speaking at Tanganyika Packers Grounds in Kawe, where he inspected preparations for the event, Kihongosi said that CCM is determined to conduct a civilized campaign free from insults and personal attacks.


He emphasized that the candidates nominated by CCM carry the hopes of Tanzanians and that through these campaigns, they will have the opportunity to present the achievements realized as well as the party’s plans for the next five years.


“The candidates chosen by Chama Cha Mapinduzi possess all the qualities of leadership. Their CVs speak for themselves, and they carry the great hopes of the people of Tanzania,” he said.


Kihongosi further explained that CCM’s Election Manifesto focuses on addressing key challenges facing citizens and provides a vision of renewed hope.


He also extended an invitation to other political parties to attend the launch and listen to CCM’s policies and manifesto, noting that the party will use the platform to introduce its candidates for wards and constituencies across Dar es Salaam Region.
