Saudi Arabian Investors Impressed by Tourism Opportunities in Tanzania.
Dar es Salaam –
Investors from Saudi Arabia visited the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism pavilion at the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF – SabaSaba), where they explored various opportunities in Tanzania’s tourism and natural resources sectors.
The head of the delegation, Mr. Abdulahim Ahmed, expressed satisfaction with Tanzania's efforts in developing tourism and conservation activities. He highlighted the significant potential for collaboration between Tanzania and Saudi Arabia in advancing the sector.
“We are impressed by how Tanzania manages its attractions, and we look forward to working together to enhance and promote these sites, encouraging more Saudi investors to invest here,” said Ahmed.
During their visit to the ministry's pavilion, the delegation was briefed on investment opportunities in wildlife, tourism, and heritage sectors, including the development of key infrastructure around tourist attractions.
The delegation also visited several departments under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, including the Tanzania Forest Services (TFS) Agency, where they observed beekeeping activities and related products.
Additionally, the investors received insights into the availability of quality seeds and seedlings, investment in tree plantations, forest product trade, and the use of technology to manage forest fire disasters.
The SabaSaba exhibitions continue to serve as a crucial platform for both local and international stakeholders to explore investment and partnership opportunities, particularly in tourism and environmental conservation.
