PRIME MINISTER VISITS PHARMACEUTICAL AND AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT FACTORIES IN BELARUS.



Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, on July 22, 2025, continued his official visit to Belarus by touring key sites of production and strategic cooperation.


While in the city of Minsk, Hon. Majaliwa visited the Belmedpreparaty factory, renowned for the production of human medicines.


Additionally, the Prime Minister toured the Minsk Tractor Plant, a facility specializing in the manufacture of tractors and modern agricultural machinery. The Tanzanian delegation witnessed advanced technologies used in the production of these tools.



During the visit, the Prime Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Cosato Chumi, along with other officials.


Hon. Majaliwa also laid a wreath at the Heroes Monument of the Republic of Belarus.


Overall, this visit is part of the Tanzanian Government’s efforts to strengthen international relations for the benefit of its people, particularly in key development sectors such as health and agriculture.
