The Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) has emphasized that the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, under the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, continues to enhance a favorable and enabling environment for both local and international investors. These efforts aim to stimulate national economic growth, particularly through the tourism sector.

Speaking to the media at the ongoing 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) at the Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Grounds, TAWA's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Beatus Maganja, reiterated the authority’s commitment to welcoming investors into various sectors, including photographic tourism and game hunting.

> "We want to inform all Tanzanians and prospective investors that TAWA is a prime destination for investment. You are all warmly welcome. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, under the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has created a conducive environment for all investors, local and foreign,” said Maganja.

He added,

> "Just as Her Excellency the President has paved the way, we at TAWA fully support her vision by ensuring these opportunities remain open and accessible to all investors. That is why we are here—to promote and invite investment in our institution."

Mr. Maganja highlighted that TAWA oversees areas rich in rare resources, unique attractions, and breathtaking landscapes, offering tremendous opportunities for sustainable investment that benefit both the nation and conservation efforts.

He listed several key areas ready for investment, including, Makuyuni Wildlife Park (Arusha), Wami-Mbiki (Morogoro), Mpanga/Kipengere (Mbeya and Njombe), Tabora Zoo, Ruhila Zoo, and many other locations with diverse investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, TAWA's Chief Conservation Officer, Dr. Gladson Mlay, encouraged the public to visit the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism’s pavilion at the trade fair, where they can view live wildlife such as lions, leopards, hyenas, crocodiles, and various bird species.

Dr. Mlay also extended an invitation to the public to taste and purchase expertly prepared grilled game meat, highlighting it as one of the sustainable ways to promote the use of natural resources.

> "For those who have never tasted grilled game meat—now is your chance. We have it here, including skewers and takeaway portions. Everyone is welcome to come taste, enjoy, and truly see that these natural resources belong to all of us," said Dr. Mlay.
