The Conservation Commissioner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), Abdul-Razaq Badru, has visited the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (SabaSaba) and commended the outstanding efforts made by institutions under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
Speaking to the media at the ministry’s pavilion, Commissioner Badru praised the institutions for winning multiple awards from the World Travel Awards (WTA) as of June 28, 2025.
He informed journalists that alongside Ngorongoro’s participation in various exhibitions to enhance visibility, the authority is also working to improve tourism infrastructure such as roads, payment systems, accommodation facilities, and transport services.
“This financial year, we are committed to improving our road network to ensure year-round accessibility. In collaboration with various stakeholders, we are also strengthening accommodation and transport infrastructure to meet the growing number of visitors to our attractions,” said Commissioner Badru.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority is participating in the exhibition to further promote tourism attractions within the area.
In 2025, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area was once again recognized by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as Africa’s Leading Tourist Attraction — marking the second time it has received this honor, the first being in 2023.
